Hey, there people. You realize the multiple amounts of time we pack our health and go off to work or our daily chores? We all have been guilty of that. But you know what, health need not be arduous. Here I have mentioned 6 easy ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle with a busy schedule. Even if you are just too lazy(trust me it is very normal) I have got your back.

I am going to tell you a few changes in my routine. These small changes have transformed me to a whole new level.

Okay so here is the thing I am in a college. I have around 32 hours of classes in a week. No, I am not cribbing I am just justifying my lack of time(or maybe I am). I entered college with a weight of 90 kg YES!!! no kidding it’s true. I had some goals and also I am a person who suffers from a lot of mood swings. I needed to make some major changes in my life to achieve the things I had thought for me. Here I reveal the chest of knowledge……(hypothetical drum rolls)

First: Use Stairs, Ditch the Elevator

My hostel room is on the sixth floor. I wanted something that fits with my overloaded day and also makes me healthy. So, I built a habit of not using the lift and only the stairs. Sounds difficult? Well, you will find it more when you start doing it. But trust me it helped my legs come in shape. It even improved my metabolism and also I can eat at the cafeteria without fits of guilt spoiling my mood. Also, it fits and helps me achieve a healthy lifestyle with my busy schedule. So it’s a WIN situation.

Second: Start your Day with Green Tea.

I started taking green tea in the morning. I have a kettle in my room all I do is warm the water and then use green tea teabags. It makes me feel very fresh using it and trust me it does not take much time. Yes, the taste might be a resistance. But once you embrace the uses, you would have the luxury of freshness throughout your day. I personally like to use the Organic India Tulsi green tea classic. Trust me it has a much bearable taste compared to others and for those who are trying green tea for the first time, try using this.

Third: Pranayam

I love doing Pranayam. It has been passed on to me by my dad. It uses 10-15 minutes and gives you poise, calmness, and power of focus all day long. If you are looking for building a new habit, then I highly recommend this. Its effect is almost magical. I am sure it will be the best chance you can bring about in your life.

Fourth: Drink Water just after Waking Up

Now, this is a simple hack but a serious game changer. All you have to do is fill your water bottle at night before sleep. So you do not have an excuse in the morning. I generally keep the bottle near me on a table. Just so I relieve myself even from the excuse of coming out of the bed in the morning(we all know that is quite painful). After drinking water there is such a splash of energy that all you would want is to run to the washroom. This not only wakes you up from your sleep, it even helps clear your stomach well. And also you would have already had 2- 3 glasses of water so you don’t feel dehydrated the whole day.

Five: Drink Coconut Water/ eat Fruits

This might not be easy but trust me I replaced my junk food with coconut water or fruits. The results were reflecting on my face. My face became quite radiant. And you know it is so satisfying to be giving good things to your body. This is the self-love and care your body demands from you.

Sixth: Eat only Two-Third of your Full Stomach.

It is so well known step towards healthy lifestyle but so much ignored. Mostly in hostels where you have buffet systems, we tend to eat more. Especially when junk food is prepared in the mess. But it is very important for you to stick to this rule. I read about this in the book named “Ikigai”.This book emphasizes how important it is for our longevity. If you wish to buy this book, you can do it from here Now you do not need to measure your food or something. Just don’t fill yourself up to the brim. Try taking small portions multiple times. you will be surprised to see all your post-lunch laziness vanishes

Lastly, I hope you have been inspired to transform into a more healthy lifestyle without hampering your demanding schedule. But don’t just start doing all these things together. Pick just one or two things and then slowly you can do further. I know building new habits take time and a lot of will power. You are to commit mistakes doing so. Trust me even I had to do several things to let me instill these habits. I have written on certain mistakes I made. Do read it and don’t waste time on something that I already did.
